Rebalancing the Portfolio with a Return on Investment Calculator

Washington State has developed an Integration Modeling Flight Simulator to support their health transformation effort. The tool has been designed to be used by stakeholders in the ten Regional Service Areas to test out a set of behavioral health integration strategies that have been demonstrated to save upstream costs.

In Arizona, this tool can be used by regional stakeholders to design and then test the potential financial impact of up to five service delivery initiatives for different subpopulations.

The tool utilizes a nine-step process to complete a Return on Investment analysis, which supports the Portfolio Balancing work.
